Gonna Be Offline a Lot this Week [January 09, 2007 @ 2:14pm]

My mother-in-law died today. Not unexpected, she has been battling cancer and had finally hit end-stage. But I will be understandably dealing with family and away from home a lot this week.

I will actually want to play when I can, because it makes me feel better. I just won't be very reliably online.

Do You Want to Die? [January 03, 2007 @ 7:02pm]

My plot bunnies have fangs... So our moderator has suggested I ask for volunteers willing to sacrifice themselves to the cause of the plot.

The serial killer thing is heating up. The next three victims will be magical folk. I need to kill off at least one witch and one wizard over the next month. The character will suffer, BTW. And it would add lovely angst to the story if they were canon, and the more connected to Harry and/or Draco the better. They will be dead. Not coming back. So don't volunteer unless you are okay with getting rid of them.

If no one volunteers, I will need to pick some NPC canon-characters to die. Suggestions for that are welcome too.

Oh, the third victim? Draco. Will he die? That is still undecided. I hope not, but... that will depend on Harry and those willing to help him track down the killer. Will they reach Draco in time? They will only have three days from when he is taken.

Please Welcome Adrian [October 29, 2006 @ 4:15pm]

So I have taken on a third character (currently I play Draco & Neville) and thought a really bad boy would be fun. So check out Adrian. If you want to help me develop his back story or future threads with him, please let me know.

New. [October 18, 2006 @ 11:42am]

I've been recruited to take up a character here.

Hi, I'm Karina and I'm the new Tracey. If there's anything I should know or you'd like to plot, you can message me on aim @ drwnpainlemonade or y!m at the same name.

Party Still Going or Over? [October 11, 2006 @ 5:00pm]

Is the party at the White Rabbit done or still going? Just wanted to know whether update that as complete yet. If you have threads still open there, please let me know.

(Oh, some of our characters are going to owe Millicent a big thank you. Grins.)

Any previous RPG experience?

I also play Draco, Oliver Wood and Tonks in a 7th year HP RPG ready_to_fall_r. (Although I enjoy the game, it's a bit slow there and I wanted to work with another game as well. I would also like to work with a post-Hogwarts Draco.) In our Serenity game, I play an original character, Orion Sun (orion_sun, male companion and martial artist).

I have been a role player for most of my life. I started in face-to-face games including D&D, GammaWorld, TimeForce, various vampire games, Champions, Call of Cuthulu, and more recently, Serenity. I have been a game master as well as a player, even running Premiere Games at several gaming conventions. I am known for an unconventional style of role playing with an emphasis on character development and plot rather than on combat or treasure. Many of my characters have crossed gender and/sexual boundaries. My most (in)famous early D&D character was flamboyantly bisexual. My last Call of Cuthulu character was a Native American scout, who lived as a man but had been born a woman.

Real life:

I am openly bisexual and polyamorous. I live as part of a long-term triad. I am also the parent of ten-year-old son who is the one who introduced me to the Harry Potter books. Professionally, I am anthropologist, author and former journalist. While most of my published work is non-fiction, I have both written and edited fiction as well.

I work from home and keep odd hours, so I am online a lot. Feel free to IM or email me. I love working on the story or just chatting with folks.

Just thought I ought to introduce myself, for the sake of propriety if nothing else!

Well, the name's Jenna, and I'll be playing Hermione. I'm a bit of an obsessor over Ms. Granger... HP in general if I may be so bold.

I've met some of you 'round about.. thedressingroom, mainly. Usually on smithsarcastic , as he's my favorite.

Anywho. I'm really glad to be a part of ambiguousdesire, and hopefully we'll get moving pretty soon.

My heart goes out to those who "weathered" Ernesto. Waste of time, eh?

Mhm. That's all for now.

Stay classy, everybody.
